I WANT TO TALK
I have a lot I want to talk about, and some times I wish everyone on earth would stop and listen. Tumblr might be the closest I ever come to having that opportunity. Right now I am studying for something very important and I don’t want to get sidetracked with my emotions, but tonight -look out world- I will write about what is on my heart.

Tonight I am reminded that God’s “power is made perfect in weakness”.
I was led to 2 Corinthians 12:9 this evening which says, “But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”
This comes from a passage in 2 Corinthians 12 called “Paul’s Vision and His Thorn”. I was able to gain some basic understanding of this passage just by reading it, but I couldn’t help but wonder what was Paul’s thorn and why did he have it?
I went back and read the passage from start to finish, but Paul’s thorn is never actually defined. HOWEVER it is clear that it is “messenger of Satan” - possibly a sin, an ailment, or some other hardship - and it was intended to do evil. In the passage Paul says he prayed three times for God to take it away, but God did not. Instead the Lord said to Paul, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness” (Verse 9).
